The desk surface is positioned at a height of 73 cm and has a 70 cm depth. Its width is matched to the selected bed size, creating a practical and comfortable workspace underneath. The desk is an integral part of the construction, made from the same wood as the bed, and requires no separate installation. For beds with a desk, we generally recommend a slightly increased clearance underneath, usually starting from around 150 cm, to provide comfortable headroom above the work surface.

Every loft bed is crafted from solid pine, solid oak, or a combination of both, with a 200 kg weight capacity and paints that comply with the EN 71-3 standard. Each bed is made to order within 2–3 weeks and comes with a 10-year warranty. The desktop is positioned 73 cm above the floor, meeting ergonomic standards for studying and working. The desk depth is 70 cm, while its width is matched to the width of the selected bed. This creates a full-size workstation beneath the bed rather than just a small shelf.

What clearance is recommended for the desk version?

For a built-in desk, we recommend increased clearance to ensure comfortable seating and sufficient headroom above the desktop – usually from around 150 cm upwards. The standard 142 cm clearance works well for younger children, while teenagers and adults often find a custom clearance between 143 and 170 cm more comfortable. The clearance height is selected when placing your order.
